The Heirloom Dual Sapphire Titanium Compass was designed by several graduate students on staff to guide them through life journeys. We wanted to make something that would last for several generations.
The frame is made from a single piece of grade 5 titanium. The top bail is free spinning titanium for easy carry and will not bunch up in your pocket. This design is perfect for laying on a map to see through to your declination.
Indicator head is fully coated in Swiss Super-LumiNova Grade X1, which is the brightest possible non-radioactive phosphorous to date.
