Paracord Lanyard Barrel Breakaway (3-Pack)
These Lanyard Barrel Breakaways are a simple way to integrate safety into your paracord projects.
How does it work?
Simply thread your paracord through one end of the barrel breakaway, heat the end of the paracord until it melts into a small ball then remove the flame and let it harden. Once hardened pull the barrel breakaway to the end and it should stop at the end of the cord. Repeat with the opposite side. This gives your lanyard enough strength to hang around your neck but should it become snagged the breakaway will snap open releasing the cord.
